HighlanderOne (467), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA Jan 26, 2008 Poured from bottle 1/2008. Found this one nestled in with the wine in the fridge at a liquor store. Faint malt and even fainter hops in the aroma. Light gold, as expected with thin persistent head. Slightly sweet as you first taste it. While the malt and hops are there, they are quite hard to detect in the flavor. A shame, really, since it is a fairly well made beer. Crisp, clean feel. Finished OK.
Gypsy19 (255), AMERICA RISING, USA Nov 20, 2008 This is pretty decent for a lager. It’s definitely got the Eastern European thing going on. Not much flavor except for a tangy bitterness, which is better than nothing and more profound than most lagers. Great for a lager, just fair overall. thornecb (1228), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Nov 19, 2008 Pours piss yellow into a shaker. White sickly head. Macro adjunct aromas. Sweet and crisp upfront, turns cloying in the finish. Unpleasant. thepegjett (54), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Oct 30, 2008 a - not much there
