2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
From the archives:You do not see this beer outside of Russia that often. Closely resembles Märzen. Easily drinkable beer. Good to have alongside freshly grilled meat. Good mass produced beer.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
0,5l glass-bottle. BB 03.06.07 Rating from 2007

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled, 500ml from Grosik European Supermarket, Banbury. Reddy brown with short lived off white head. The first impression is of syrup, almost like a treacle syrup, mouth-coatingly so with a boiled sugar background. Fortunately a fruity, malty flavour shows through eventually offering a little redemption, making it drinkable. Not one to return to for me but finished much better than it started.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
It could be worse I guess, and this brew is by no means intimidating or deterrent. It just a little too little.. Kind of flat and malty. Hops used are cheap grain, so there’s a risk of that metal taste in your mouth. Malts are indifferent and more likely to be overruled by some light sirup. If you do enjoy this style of beer, go for the Pizza Port Junkle if you can get your hands on it. This is pretty much a low end Dunkel.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml. bottle. It pours a nice clear dark copper red color with a thin khaki head. The aroma is pretty nice with dark bready malts, hazelnut, some caramel and hints of cocoa. Maybe a tad heavy on the caramel. The flavor is caramel, bread with just a hint of cocoa and rye spice near the finish. Decent enough mouthfeel, but the body is a bit on the thin side. Not bad.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear red copper, creamy tan head, good retention, nice lacing; sweet roasty malt nose, licorice, candy syrup, dark fruit, lemon, smoky, cinnamon; roasty sweetbitter taste that lingers on in the aftertaste, bit acidity and spices; rather thin creamy texture on the verge of watery, medium body.
