1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20
.5L bottle from a corner shop because they were out of Baltika 6 and I was always curious about this one. Pours a brownish ruby with a moderate brown head of large bubbles. Aroma of caramel, corn syrup, chemicals. Taste is cloyingly sweet malt syrup with an astringent finish. No hops. This beer is buyer’s remorse--I would have preferred just about anything else over this beer. Not even worth the $2.50 paid.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours clear red / copepr brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of caramel malt, with notes of yeast and touches of hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with notes of hops and touches of yeast. Sweetish and slighty bitter aftertaste. Either I did not rinse my glass properly after the previous beer, or this one is actually quite decent.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, 5.6%. Rough hop aroma. Clear red/brown colour. Big stable creamy tan head. The flavour is caramelly and alcoholic. Full stop. And a bit oxidised. Then full stop.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
DATE TASTED: February 7, 2015... GLASSWARE: Baltika stange... OCCASION: A pinewood derby/violin recital/quiz bowl triple play--quite a day!... APPEARANCE: this beer is heard before it is seen, with a sizzling fizzle that quiets to an iced tea head of inconsistent bubbles; dark amber translucent body that holds steady effervescent; weak, spotty lacing... AROMA: caramel syrup is clearly present; pitchy, sweet malts are unbalanced by any hop aromas... PALATE: rather thin, watery mouthfeel that moves swiftly to the throat--akin to a sugarless iced tea...TASTE: mildly sweet, with faint caramel; a pungent finish, with awkward, cloying unbalanced corn maltiness--were are the hops? ...OVERALL: a slightly alcoholic, corny, malty, syrupy attempt at a dunkel...what’s not to like? not much...slightly enjoyable ...

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Butelka 0,5; piękna jak też wszystkie inne butelki browaru, z ciemnego szkła.
Kolor ciemno bursztynowy, piana o średniej frakturze, zostawia trochę śladów lecz niewiele.
Niewielki aromat chlebowy, karmelowy, palone.
Średnie gazowanie, trochę cierpkie w ustach, krótki lecz satysfakcjonujący goryczkowy finisz.
Poraz kolejny jestem zachwycony relacją ceny do jakości tego browaru.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very picturesque beer: pours a beautiful cherry copper with frothy tan head that reduces quickly but leaves attractive lacing.
Nose is huge malt sweetness with caramel and cereal. In the glass, it’s light for a bock, like bread with honey. Medium body, very smooth and satisfying.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours ruby red with huge white head. Aroma is malty with caramel and bread. Taste is light sweetness, light bitterness. Surprisingly not awful - easy and pleasant to drink.
