tawny amber pour, slight finger of tan head. Nose is malt and something vegetal. Middle is caramelized grain, candi sugar. Finish is a little too sweet. Where are the hops?

The beer pours a dark amber color with a lacy, thick head. The aroma is bready with a bit of funk. The taste is quite bready, with some caramel, and a bit of bite. The finish is dry and properly bittered and the body is medium towards heavy. Overall, this is a sessionable beer; warm and enjoyable.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2016 500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark brown colour with a small tan head. Malts in the aroma are strong, with caramel and some chocolatey sweetness. Caramel, malt flavours, it’s quite sweet, maybe even some liquorice flavouring in there.

Bottle - Clear brown colour, thin beige head, disappearing quickly. Toffee and rsted malts, no hops. Sweet malty taste with chocolate notes. Light body, average carbonation, sweet finish with roasted tones. Not so bad, but its boring.

dark "Baltika 4 Original" - with the addition of rye malt. I confirm that this beer! Four with caramel, bread, malt flavor and a touch of bitterness. I tried to tour the factory in Novosibirsk Baltika. Unfortunately in the shops we did not sell.

This beer is loaded with good caramel malt, light chocolate tones and a slightly roasted malt character. Its hop bitterness is not as striking, but emphasizes malt notes with a long good aftertaste. Balance is okay and it is all in all a pleasant beer to drink.

Pours a deep orange amber color, with a nice tan head. A very pretty beer in the glass. Aroma is malt sweetness, and caramel. Taste is sweet and deep with molasses and brown sugar. Malty, medium body, very smooth. great tasting easy drinking beer.
