3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Odd yeast smells when the bottle was opened. Nice red foil deco. Pours looking nice, with large foam head over brown ale.
Sweet nose of malts. Flavor is better than average, esp for the style. Very minimal hop bite, noticable only in the finish. While the palate is a little "off", this was still enjoyable. Pint .9 @ $2.50

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from an East European grocers in Horfield, Bristol. Deep copper in colour, with a momentary and big, off-white, head and moderate carbonation. Sweet, toffee and red berries, with a metallic edge, some jarring rye earthiness and heavy, bready, finish with a trace of bitterness. A novel experience for this British drinker, but not a particularly positive one.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Fles gekregen van een collega. Amberkleurig tot bruine kleur. Witte redelijk stevige schuimkraag. Ziet er smakelijk uit maar daar blijft het helaas ook bij. erg waterig in de mond en totaal geen kracht. Bitterheid van de hop kan ik niet ontdekken. Nee helaas dit was 1 malig.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20
.5L bottle from a corner shop because they were out of Baltika 6 and I was always curious about this one. Pours a brownish ruby with a moderate brown head of large bubbles. Aroma of caramel, corn syrup, chemicals. Taste is cloyingly sweet malt syrup with an astringent finish. No hops. This beer is buyer’s remorse--I would have preferred just about anything else over this beer. Not even worth the $2.50 paid.
