Bottle. Nice dark pour with a very thin head. Nose is very, very sweet. Taste-notes of honey, caramel, light fruits, peaty, and raisin. Actually, this is very nice. Slight bitter finish.

Nov 18, 2008 This is one of those beers with a unique taste I run into every so often. Has a very distinct sweetness to it. I’d try it again, and it is well priced.

Oct 31, 2008 Labeled ’’Baltika 4 Dark Lager’’, same color scheme. Am I seeing this right? This is only a 2.98 here? This is actually a great beer! Surprising since it was only $2.29 for a pint at my local Alibaba’s. Rich caramel taste along with honey, malt, maple, decent hops, and brown sugar. The flavor is excellent, and it rates high in less-tangible aspects as well. A huge surprise here. Highly underrated in my opinion. Thanks Baltika.
