This is a nice dark lager it’s a good example of the style it’s full mof flavor but it still has a nice crispness to it. It is similar in taste and appearance to Becks Dark. I often think the rye malt gives it a bite that reminds me a little of worcestershire sauce. Baltika’s best.

Bottle. Poured deep brown with a thick white head. Aroma of fruit, caramel and raisins. Light malt flavour, with bare tinges of malt, and rye. Flat malt finish. Began very well and ended disappointingly

This is one of those beers with a unique taste I run into every so often. Has a very distinct sweetness to it. I’d try it again, and it is well priced.

Pours deep amber/brown into a shaker. Offwhite head with medium retention leaves no lacing. Nasty, sour caramel aromas and flavors. Russian.

Labeled ’’Baltika 4 Dark Lager’’, same color scheme. Am I seeing this right? This is only a 2.98 here? This is actually a great beer! Surprising since it was only $2.29 for a pint at my local Alibaba’s. Rich caramel taste along with honey, malt, maple, decent hops, and brown sugar. The flavor is excellent, and it rates high in less-tangible aspects as well. A huge surprise here. Highly underrated in my opinion. Thanks Baltika.
