A nice, refreshing lager with great, golden look and medium head. Slight hops flavour, almost no bitterness. May seem a bit watery, but is good for the summer.

Clear bottle. Aroma is grainy with some malt and disgusting reek. Appearance golden with a quickly dissolved head. Taste is intially way too sweet, but that backs off a bit. Still too sweet. I guess this is malty, but it’s thin and sickly, a malt liquor without the teeth. Some weird industy. Finish is warm but not dry. Not really wretched, but I absolutely do no like this.

Medium gold, a touch fizzy, OK head. Aroma was an almost chemical mess of grains and adjuncts. Flavor unfortunately matched, a lot of corn on the finish. I would be stunned if this didn’t have some corn and rice in it, no matter what this description says. Some hop bitterness, but hard to distinguish between that and the hard bite of the carbonation. Not too good.

Light amber color, small white head, aroma of malt and grain with a hint of hops.Flavor was okay, malty and mildly sweet with some light graininess and just over all smooth and easy to drink. There is a slight twang in the finish but not a big deal.It works for me.

Solid gold pour with 2-finger white head. Aroma of honey and pale malts, plus some subdued hopcitrus. The flavor is sweet with honey and pale malts at the first sip, then it gets somewhat fruity with a slight apricot element, and then hits you with some mild hopcitrus. It stays on the sweet sticky fruity side predominantly.

Very typical and basic, but a decent easy drinker on a warm spring day. Clear and golden with a small fizzy fading head. Soft and smooth on the palate, with some bready notes and grassy hoppiness, finish is somewhat dry and spicy.

This is my second Russian beer. This is a lager that is bottled in a clear bottle with a clear golden color. The head was very small and quickly disappeared.. The presentation is excellent. This is basic beer with sweet malty flavor. I have not tried some of the Russian stout yet. This is an ordinary beverage with no notable characteristics.

From a 1pt. 9oz. clear glass narrow neck bottle with a best before date on the back label, 05.02.06. Made an average lager appearance, poured a clear golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin bubbly lacing, good carbonation. Had a faint grassy/veggie nose with a dry fruity graininess in the background. A crisp, watery light bodied mouth feel, average drinkability. Softly sweet fruity maltiness with a little cereal graininess, the lightest of spicy hop taste, mellow watery bitterness and a dry cereal grainy finish. What you expect from Baltika, an average, not awful, pale lager at a cheap price.

Pours a four finger white head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Chrystal clear light amber color. Light carbonation and light bodied. Sweet malty nose. Starts sweet, faint hint of blueberry?? almost like a light, clean finish. Very good lawnmower beer. $1.95 for a 500ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.
