1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Crisp golden lager with faint honeyish notes and hints of malt. There is slight bitterness, slight tartness. It is fairly clean and slightly heavier than most of its stablemates (save #6)

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Canned) Golden color with small and vanishing head. Sweetish, clean and reasonably malty aroma. Fruity, malty flavor with a nice, bitter finish. Medium-bodied, quite carbonated but refreshing palate. This is the perfect beer to drink on a hot day after sweating on a motorcycle - right now, that is... :)

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A golden beer with a fine but collapsing white head. The aroma is sweet malty. The flavor is also sweet malty - with hints of caramel and rather carbonized.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Nice golden color, small white ehad that faded fast and left little behind. The aroma is light at best with a little malt and some hops and maybe a slight lemon or lemon grass side to it.The flavor came off as much the same as the aroma with a slight medicinal side coming through.Could be that this bottle is skunked.I guess it might have been a decent brew but over all i’d have to say that it’s poorly done.If i decide to get another i will rerate it and hopefully it’s a better bottle then this one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2004 Another beer received from my friend from Russia. This ranks among the best lagers I have ever tasted. Pours a rich amber color. A great sweet aroma gives way to a comparativley complex flavor, when considering a lot of other lagers worldwide. Great texture, very silky and filling. Goes down increadibly smooth with a very pleasant biting aftertaste. Great stuff!

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2005 Canned. Not much to say about this one, because I’ve had so many standard lagers here. This is pretty nice, but it’s pretty standard to-style stuff.
Very sugary. I am re-rating from a can I bought at the St. Peterburg duty-free shop during my second Russia trip.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dry lager aroma. Clear gold body with good carbonation. White head that is mostly diminishing. Bland, dry lager flavor (tastes like it smells). This would be the closest Russian equivalent to Bud I have tried. Pleasant; a good non-light. Unflawed.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light off yellow color. A bit sweet, some dry hop cardboard flavors. A little rye. Not that bad.
