This beer pours a nice golden yellow with an average white head. I find this beer to be very plain. It is lightly sweet with a very light bitter after taste.

500ml clear bottle into a pint glass. Pours a crystal clear medium gold with a half finger head. Tons of carbonation bubbles rising through the beer help to hold the head for a long time. Really a pretty beer. A very light skunkyness in the aroma but much less than what I was expecting with a clear bottle. Lots of grain and grassy hops and a slight hint of lemon. A nice breadyness in the taste quickly followed by hay and grass from the hops. Bitterness is on the light side and really the taste kind of falls apart about halfway through. The crispness I was expecting just didn’t come with the beer finishing up a little bit sweet. Overall, this is very similar to Baltika #3. I haven’t done a side by side tasting but the similarities are remarkable. This one may be a little less sweet but not much. Really it isn’t a bad beer just completely unremarkable. I would pick up again, though.

Light beer with light-bitter taste and fruit palate. Good, snow-white foam, stays for 3 minutes. Very light colour. Not bad beer.

Una cerveza muy simplona. Se puede beber pero es de las peores que tienen los de Baltika.

500 ml. bottle. Pours a thick white, well retained white head, with extensive lacing, over a clear yellow (SRM 3) body....nose is light cereal, hints of corn sweetness.....taste is light sweetness, light cereal, minimal bitterness....mouth feel light, carbonation makes a pleasant spritz. This meets this uninteresting, insipid style quite well including the addition of corn adjunct aromas and flavors. BJCP 6/3/10/4/5

As pictured. Pours with a dense white cap. Madeira cake, old lemon, slight rubber aroma. Slimy-bodied with TCP, lemon, paper and honey coated breakfast cereal hints. Pleasantly creamy, corn-flavoured, throwaway lager.

Decent aroma, malty with a hint of apple. Pours with a decent head and leaves a little lacing, but really let down by its palate, dismally watery. Taste leans more towards malt, a little corn, a hint of some hard to discern fruit - maybe grapefuit? - and just the barest hint of hops in the finish. Pretty bad.

Bottle found in the back of my beer closet - probably from the LCBO, but I don’t remember for sure. Production date 10/08/2009 - obviously, it’s been there for a while. Clear gold with a small and quickly disappearing white head. Aroma - expected some serious skunkiness given that it’s 2.5 year old pale lager in a clear bottle, but surprisingly, it doesn’t smell that bad. A bit of wet cardboard, but also some lightly toasted malt, a bit of honey - no, make that golden syrup - and a faint grassiness. Flavour is also better than I expected given its age - although "better" is relative in this case, as it really doesn’t taste like much of anything, aside from some generic sweetness off the top, bit of sweet corn in the middle, and a super-quick, vaguely hopped finish. It’s not very good - but also not as bad as it could be.
