Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. This is what a plain old unassuming lager should be like...and I would bet $20 they use Hallertauer hops in this. The honeysuckle flower nose is uncanny, and quite attractive. Clean enough, and I’d almost go as far to call this a Helles. The difference between this and the atrocious pale lagers I just rated (Haagen, Bud Select, and Hurricane HG) is like night and day, just no comparison at all. Not a great beer overall, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it and it’s easy to drink.

Light yellow appearance, no aroma, and light taste. This is a little more than flavored water.

16.9 fl oz / 500mL bottle into a pint glass. Served cold. Aroma: As soon as I opened the bottle, my room was flooded with skunky reek. I think beneath it all, I can detect a little stale corn flake smell. The skunk is strong with this one. Appearance: Completely transparent yellow, almost looks like water that’s gone bad. Urine-like head that goes away quickly. Much like the head on urine. Taste: Actually not that bad. Cereals. Bready almost. Reminds me of white bread, nachos, and flour tortillas. Not bad at all. Palate: Light body, actually has a short little finish. Smooth, clean, crisp. Points for not being horribly offensive. Overall: Probably the skunkiest beer I have ever smelled so far in my life. The smell and look of this beer are huge turn offs. However, it’s actually not that bad. The flavor is pretty refreshing, and it’s not horrible. It’s not even bad, really.

Was expecing something horrendous. IT is a few days past its best by but it isn’t skunked at all. It is a crappy pale lager but surprisingly drinkable and not horrible.

From the 25 ouncer stamped: 03.09.12-01:34, 03.09 9.13 0-W. It pours pale yellow with a fizzy erupting head the peters out in two shakes of a lamb’s tail. Aroma of barley malts, grain, syrup, and a crisp hop note. Light body. Pretty basic through and through and not offensive.

For a pale lager, this is pretty good. Very smooth flavor, aroma is light. Appearance is kind of flat and not much weight or lingering flavor in the palate. This would be a good summer time beer, lightweight, but tasty.

Pours clear, slightly dark gold...short white head. Scent is grain malt, lemon. Taste is sweetly grained, light lemon...malty. Fairly typical lager taste. Crisp...not bad.

500ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Very light and pale in he glass and very very clear. Has a crisp white head, not a lot of carbonation. Grain and wet straw in the aroma which is not that pleasant. The flavour is pretty basic and not that great either. All in all pretty disappointing.
