The ingredients are water, light barley malt and caramel malt, maltose syrup and hops.

Funky aroma, smooth flow but with a after taste of moose piss. I would recommend the regular Baltika, it has a better aroma and a slight after taste.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

500ml clear bottle. Pale golden with a small one finger head, quickly dissipating. Aroma is sweet pale and caramel malts. Taste is lightly sweet malt, almost syrup like but quite nice, fruit. Only a mild bitterness to finish, it’s mostly sweet otherwise. Watery texture but good carbonation. Another average but drinkable lager.

50cl clear glass embossed bultika bb05/2016 (BL1). - Pours as dullgolden and transparent as its sun-dappled container. Nose of sweet cooked rains, literal barley-wheat syrup and steaming rice with a faint industrial honey edge. Drinks mainly watery and corn-sweet with some barley/wheat syrup body. No sulphurs or real off-notes besides the intended sour white breadishness.

Bottiglia. L’aroma in bocca rimanda a caramello, miele, fieno, cereali e fiori.

Bottle. Grainy malt, herbal hops, with notes of paper and dust in the background. Head is average size, frothy, white with no lacing and is almost fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear light amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and light acidic, then finishes slightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. A drinkable, but no big deal Pale Lager.

500ml bottle from SuperValu in Fermanagh, Ireland (£2.29):
Average really, nothing grabbed your attention other than the lack of off-flavours & skunk. Basic with subtle hops & faint sweetness backing up some biscuit malts & grain; nothing special really & nowhere near as good as the brewery’s #6 Porter.

A very pleasant pale lager. Smooth taste, with just enough sweetness to not make it too sweet.

Grumbo (1105) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2016
