A black pour with crimson highlights and a loose, tan head. It has a rich, malty aroma filled with caramel and some faint plum. The light body has a creamy texture with average carbonation. The taste is moderately sweet up front then fades to roasted finish.

What a great looking bottle to start with! Poured it from a 500 ml bottle into a pilsner glass. Produces a thin, off white head. Aroma is the basic Porter package of dark chocolate, coffee beans and some fruitiness. Very pleasant on the palate, almost buttery. Nicely balanced bitterness that makes it a surprisingly drinkable Porter. The roasted flavors are not overpowering and the end result is deliciously sweet. Goes incredibly well with a piece of chocolate. A winner for sure!

cbeers21 (693) - Miami, Florida, USA - MAR 7, 2011
Deep browned pour with a slightly fading head. A bunch of very fruited berry and peach aromas to smell which is matched in its flavor. Easily quaffable with a lingering toastiness and a chocolate roasted nut finish. Slightly bitter legs. A light drinker whose balance is its best attribute. Not too much to ponder over but what is there is quality.
