Bottle 50 cl. Black with a short lived lightbrown head. Aroma; light sweet malt with some caramel sence. Taste; A bit more taste, of roasted malt. Nice mild, but could be some more taste...

[2844-20100418] 500mL bottle. Roasted plum and slight smokiness in the aroma. Clear, black red body with a medium-lasting foamy light tan head. More roast fruit malt in the flavour with a long sweet roast finish. Medium-full body. Quite good in comparison to its brother brews.

Pours a clear, deep reddish-black with a short tan head that lasts. Malty nose with licorice all through this rather sweet porter. Dates, ripe plums and molasses all present. Medium carbonation, medium-bodied. Sweet finish with a faint resinous hops aftertaste. If they could make this drier, introduce some hop flavors, and keep the licorice, I’d love it. But then it would be Coopers Extra Stout!
