COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"'s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.
The ingredients are water, caramel malt and burnt roasted malt, maltose syrup and hops. 17°

Bottle. Pour was dark brown, little head. Very sweet, tons of malts and slightly dark fruits. This is almost like drinking a flat can of soda.

.5L bottle. Dark brown hue with a small, tanned, creamy head and nice lacing. Reach aroma of dark fruit, chocolate malt and molasses. Full, creamy, slightly tangy body. A lot of dark fruit, bread, chocolate malt and molasses on the palate. Long, port like finish. Great, easy drinking porter. Love it.

Pours black with an off white head. Aroma is sweet malt, a bit of raisin, and smoke. Flavor is rich caramel malt, a bit of smoke and raisin with a lightly bitter finish. Best Baltika I’ve had.

Chocolate sweet aroma, pours black with a bubbly off-white head. Very heavy in sweetness, balanced by a bit of hop bitterness. Very clean, leaves a touch of hops and burnt malt in the finish. Overall it is good, very nice with the strong sweetness powering through.

Brownish, thick head, dark brown appearance, full body, thick texture, medium caramel taste, long finish. Lovely beer for Russia

A. Pours a dark mahogany with a beige head....holds nicely. S. Aroma is not too strong, sweet, slightly woody, touch of smoke, and maybe dark fruit? T. Tastes as it smells, I guess, light smoke finish, raisin, sweetness of molasses, roasted malt and dusty cocoa. Hmmm, hint of hops. M. Smooth Porter...just the right mouthfeel, not too smoky or bitter, although those aren’t always bad things. D. Very drinkable, first beer I had from Baltika, makes me want to try something else from them. C. It’s a very nice Surprising beer that doesn’t try to be too much. Serving type: bottle

Bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Flavor is raisons, caramel, malt, and hops. Not too shabby although really light for a Porter.

500mL shared with tastybeer. Pours a deep ruby with a two-finger beige head that has okay retention and pretty good lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, raisins, something like old sherry. Taste is almost all raisins, brown sugar, sweet malt, some hazelnut/creamy notes. Very sweet, almost doppelbock like. Pretty good.
