50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, rye, dried dark fruits. Flavour is sweet, rye, malts, chocolate, dark fruits, light alcohol, some liquorice, malty finish. Medium bodied. A bit bock-like. Nice.

Big dark head, clear with red highlights; sharp tongue, quick effervescence, big body, a tad sticky, slightly cloying, bitter and semi-sweet; Big molasses nose and lots of malts. Good drop.

Pours a dark brown/black with a small tan head that fades quickly. Aroma is chocolate and a slight hint of alcohol. The taste is mildly roasted malts, lactose, and milk chocolate. Mouth-feel is creamy and highly carbonated. Yumm!

Bottle: Thanx to Mr.Rask: Dark clear red colour, creamy head. Aroma is dominated of caramelly,vanilla,dark choclate. Flavor had a nice smouth mouth feeling of chcolate, caramelly, raisins, fruits. Medium body, medium chcolate fruity finish.

50cl bottle. Black beer with tan and creamy head, medium persistence. Aroma is to toasted and roasted malts, dark chocolate. Flavour is to burnt malts, black coffee, licorice, dark chocolate, wood ,moderate bittery with a creamy final. Also is noted some prunes and black grapes hints. Carbonation is flat Texture is oily. Full bodied.

22oz bottle from Westroads poured into a snifter. Pours black with 2 fingers of dark tan head. Aroma of plum, toffee, light chocolate, candied sugar and some Welch’s grape juice. Taste is lightly bitter. Chocolate, dark fruits, sugar and grapes. Medium bodied with a slick yet creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, I like this beer a lot. Makes me want to try others from this brewery.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2012 Bottle in Murmansk, Russia. Black colour with a beige head. Moderate sweet aroma with some roasted malt and chocolate. Rich and mild flavour. Roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and licorice

black. Good tan head lasts a while. Malty aroma that is dominated by sweetness. The flavor is malty and syrupy with maple, milk, malt, roastiness, and pecan. The palate is quite velvety. It finishes with a flavor like fresh cut pecan wood and sugary sweetness.
