COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"'s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.
The ingredients are water, caramel malt and burnt roasted malt, maltose syrup and hops. 17°

500mL bottle: Apeerance is pitch black with slow fading tand head, aroma is pretty much nonexistant, flavor is very light for a porter hints of chocolate and pale malt but really very light tasting.

Bottle, 500 ml. Pours a flat opaque, but rather appealing dark mahogany. Not too much on the nose, and quite rounded on the palate, somewhat reminiscent of a doppelbock.

Pours a very dark brown-ruby color with a foamy, medium, tan head. Aroma contians lightly roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, and raisins. Body is very thin and smooth. Tastes of roasted malts, caramel, raisins, prunes, chocolate, and molasses. Very sweet flavor with a bit of roastiness overall. Decent.

Pours with a very small tight head with a deep brown almost black color. The aroma is very sweet and malty with some molasses and chocolate. The flavor has notes of plum, nuts, berries, and chocolate. The beer is overall pretty sweet but has enough dryness and alcohol to provide the needed balance.

low aroma of alcohol and cocoa. Alcohol comes through in the flavour too, wth plum skins, dark chocolate, and raisins. Would’ve liked a little more bitterness to balance the sweetness.

Weak smell for a porter. Small taste as well, little malts with a fading finish. I need more of a Russian kick.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a little bit of a cola head. Aromas sweet and roasted malt with a little bit of a peat and prune as well. This has a nice mix of earth, nuts, toffee and a little bit of dark fruit across the palate. From time to time a bit of iron or something of the sort comes out... which is the biggest knock that I have. Other than that it is considerably less syrupy and cloying than most Baltics I’ve had. This makes it much more enjoyable for my palate.
