COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"'s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.
The ingredients are water, caramel malt and burnt roasted malt, maltose syrup and hops. 17°

1/2 L bottle. Black with a large frothy tan head. Aroma of caramel and roast malts with raisins and molases hints and a touch of alchohol. Flavor follows aroma with an almost candi sugar sweetness. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Finish is somewhat sweet with some roastyness and a bit of alchohol warming. Way sweet for a porter but still rather tasty.

Clear chestnut brown with no head. Nice roasty nutty aroma. Medium body with light carbonation. Nice flavors of dark roasted malts with a lightly sweet black licorice taste. Not too bad.

Oily brown, moderate quickly waning tan head. Raisiny, sweet, dark-bready aroma with hints of molasses. Quite appealling. Sweet, heavily malty flavor with some more molasses notes, chocolate truffle. Light, but just-right bitterness finishing this out. Perfect carbonation enhances the rich finish. Very enjoyable.

Single from Three Cellars Milwaukee. Tan full head, nice dark color. Very light and a bit sweet. I found the taste fuller when it wasn’t so cold.

16.9oz. bottle. Pours a very deep amber with .5in. short lived tan head that left minimal lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, light milk chocolate notes. Taste is a little sweet for me with flavors of milk chocolate, dark fruits, and cane surgar. Medium to heavy on the body with an almost syrurpy texture and light carbonation. Not bad just too sweet for my taste.
