Bottle. A lightly reddish beer, dark brown to black in color, and with a dense, beige head on top. Coffee, roasted malts, some sweetness and some caramel in the arome. Medium to full body, soft on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Coffee, roasted malt and some dried fruits in the flavor, a touch of prunes. Lasting finish. A nice one, tasteful and pleasant. 16.9oz bottle-pours a big, rich foamy tan head that laces and black color. Aroma is roasty dark malt-chocolate, dark fruit, some sweetness. Taste is roasty dark malt-tart/some licorice, chocolate, some dark fruit, slight sweetness, some earthy hops sharpness. Medium/full body. OK/mild carbonation.
