3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Served with a straw at our favorite place in Bishkek, but only available one night. Tasty sweetish and complex porter, better than we expected. Seek this one out as a better alternative to the others.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. A lightly reddish beer, dark brown to black in color, and with a dense, beige head on top. Coffee, roasted malts, some sweetness and some caramel in the arome. Medium to full body, soft on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Coffee, roasted malt and some dried fruits in the flavor, a touch of prunes. Lasting finish. A nice one, tasteful and pleasant. Well worth a revisit. 130202

Bottle, 7.0%. Rough tar aroma, hint of salt. Black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, rough and salty, but also with a bit of coffee and a vinous touch. 7 3 7 3 15

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Leaner than some Baltic Porters, but still carries a few extra pounds in its treacly, winey body.
