COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"'s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.
The ingredients are water, caramel malt and burnt roasted malt, maltose syrup and hops. 17°

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2008 Blind tasting with Tranquility. 500ml bottle. Tight creamy and dark head, stays for ever. Aroma chocolatey. (On another bottle, I got gravy - meat and yeast.) Tastes like a hefty stout, some alcohol due to the 7%, full maltiness, not oppressingly burnt. As it gets warmer, there will be even bacon in the taste! Well rounded, make this the last 2 beers of the evening...

Pours black and thick with a dark chestnut hue and a nice creamy tan head. The aroma is thick maltiness, a bit sweet and a bit roasty. The flavor is very similar, with a potent malty ending that has some black licorice and almost thick liqueur type notes.

500ml bottle. Tick and black in colour, almost engine oil like. Mountainous tan head with big frothy bubbles and burnt toffee and malt notes with a hint of coffee. Thick and silky mouthfeel.
