COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"'s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.
The ingredients are water, caramel malt and burnt roasted malt, maltose syrup and hops. 17°

Share by Fidel, nice deep brown pour with a small cream colored head. Nose is sweet maltiness with some dark chocolate. The flavor adds a bit more complexity with some licorice, caramel and dried fruit. Prune like in a good way. Good sippin’ porter!

Rich black beer with frothy thick lasting tan head. Lots of toasted malt and molasses, very masculine aromas. Soft, caressing mouthfeel like a sincere kiss. Lingering flavors of caramelized walnuts, balsamic, and Turkish coffee. Quite pleasant, but more muscle than it needs.

Pours a deep deep brown with a thin tan head that leaves ok retention... Aroma of licorice, roasted malts, not overly sweet aroma at all... Flavor of some green herbs, slightly roasty, sweet candy like flavor, note of licorice, dark fruits, cherry, faint tartness, subtly complex... Medium bodied, medium mouthfeel, good beer, less full than i expected

Bottle. Pours black with minimal head. Sweat malt aroma. Carmel malt on the tongue, smooth finish.

I’ve just poured a 22oz bottle into my big beer glass, and I must say, I wasn’t expecting this to be that good, but I was surprised. Very nice chocalatey aroma with a flavor to match. Also has some sweetness to it. Very nice!

Pours tar black with a large brown fading head. Aroma shows lots of sweet malt, chocolate, oats, with a faint hint of vegemite in the background that narrowly avoids being offensive. More roasted malt and sweet dark chocolate show as flavours, along with loads of sweet caramel. Very slick and creamy with low carbonation.

Pours dark brown with a beige head. The aroma is mainly roasted malt with some coffee. The flavor is heavy on the roasted malt. Not as much coffee or chocolate in the flavor as I was expecting. The alcohol is well hidden. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Fairly cream finish.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2010 I got some bottles in Liège (Belgium) wich were very cheep (1€). So I didn’t expect to drink a so nice black beer as this one.
