A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"'s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.

Aroma: heavy caramel malts, bread, notes of flowers and hay. Appearance: dark brown/black, medium beige frothy head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: grain, bread malts, heavy body, low carbonation, sweets are just right, not too intense. Overall: very nice Baltic Porter, not too sweet, well balance. Bottle from Drinks of the World Bern HB, Switzerland.

Buena porter con poco aroma pero con un sabor impactante aunque adolece de cuerpo, el cual se echa un poco de menos. Repetiría sin problemas.

Pint bottle. Poured into English pint glass. Thin head that dissipated quickly. Dark amber color. Nice aroma. Smells of malt and caramel. Sweet smell and taste with slight hoppy finish. Clean mouth feel.

Pint bottle. Poured a translucent dark brown color with a thin khaki head and no lacing. Tasted sweet, caramel malts, and roasted and toasted malts. Medium-high carbonation, medium body. Not bad, but I’ve had

Bottle from Triangle Wine, Morrisville. Ok aroma, sweet. Malty, earthy peaty, yeasty. Dark reddish brown color, small to no head, no lace. Sweet flavor. Medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, short sweet finish. It’s ok, not making me want to finish this, but I’m giving some doubt as far as how far this beer has to travel.

Aroma of bubblegum, plum, raisin, and banana. Appearence is dark brown, almost black with thin light caramel brown head, not much visible carbonation. Taste is of sweet and rich raisin with hints of bubblegum balanced with mildly bitter roast malt and a touch of coffee. Palate is thick and fizzy, but not syrupy, very nice. Overall, I love this Baltic porter.

Pours very dark ruby red (black to the eye) with a tall, fluffy beige-brown head that dissolves into lace. Aromas are rather bright, with notes of grass, caramel and yeast. The taste is at first light and sweet, but works into a more robust, complex end wth an aftertaste of baker’s chocolate, molasses and prunes. The fruitiness at the end tends towards acidity. A multifaceted and enjoyable Baltic porter.

Schwarzes Bier mit schöner beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, Schokolade, fruchtig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, Kaffee, dunkle Früchte, minimal säuerlich.
