50 cl can at home - bought in Moscow by my parents. Clear light golden color, disappering white head. Aroma is sweet with grassy malt. Flavor is small amounts of malt, fruity sweetness and hints of bitterness. Thin.

You know that food that tastes better than it smells? Well this beer smells better than it tastes. I thought I had a real find when I poured this beer. Great aroma, then total disappointment with an almost tasteless beer. Not sure how that could happen but it did.

Sampled 9/18/08. Bottled on 6/8/08. This Pale Lager pours a light yellow gold color from a green pull top cap 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with nice retention. The aroma is cereal and corn. A medium to light bodied pale lager. The malts are cereal and grain, touch of corn. The hops are floral and spicy. Very lively carbonation helps balance out some of the corn sweetness. A touch watery and a little harsh, but its not bad for a pale lager. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

More like a commercial American lager than anything else. Everyone else I was with raved over this, it is very easy to drink, but lacks flavor. I recommend the porter, it’s light years ahead.

I have an inch that only Baltika can scratch! Now, mind you, these are in a can; the only way to enjoy a Baltika brew. A label on the can reads "Premium Ale, crafted with the finest ingredients, is brewed to meet the standards of the most discerning ale enthusiasts." I thought we’re dealing with a lager here. Someone needs to get their shit straight. Appearance: Pours a yellow body with a small, fizzy, white head. Splotchy, sporadic lacing throughout. Smell: Much like the Baltika 5 which I’m enjoying side-by-side, it’s a sweet-smelling aroma with light florals. Taste: Pale malts with a medium sweetness -- a far cry less sweet than the previous Baltika 5. One drop of clover honey. Very, very slight sour grain taste. Touch of spicy, floral hops along wtih an equally light bitterness. Semi-sweet finish that, like the #5, gets a touch watery near the end. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-high carbonation. Drinkability: Just another simple European lager. Similar to the #5, except with a dialed down sweetness.

Very pale yellow color with small, bit creamy and soapy white head. Finally head is only flimsy ace. Sweet malty and slightly fruity aroma contains a bit toffee also. Mild flavor is sweet corny malty with slight alcoholic finish. Light-bodied, oily and slightly alcoholic palate.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Alcohol and cornish/brewing cereal aroma. Flavour is cornish, light bitterhoppy and again with an alcohol presence. Bitterhoppy finish with a lingering cornish sweetness.
