Can (1 liter!) from Russian shop in Charleroi. Dull, watery and metallic lager. Some strange off flavours. Not good at all.

1 litre can (yes ONE LITRE) into shaker. Sweet bready nose, a little pepper in the background. Pale amber beer with thin sudsy head, a few bubbles. Clean and zingy in the mouth. Finish is sweet with malt, dough and bubblegum all fighting for supremacy. A slight touch of grain right at the end is the only balancing agent. Run of the mill lager only sweeter.

Originally rated on 12/12/08. First off I am not a fan of lagers, but this stuff wasnt horrible. It pours a clear mid yellow body, not much carbonation, with a thin white cap. Aroma and flavor of honey, malts, a little grass, and a touch of yeast. The cap was cool it looked like a cap but had a pull tab like old fashioned cans, and poped like a cork. Better than i expected, but its still a lager.

(500ml can, Kiev) aroma: ok lager nose, kinda basic. Appearance: light pale yellow, moderate white head, minimal lacing.. Taste: better than mãss lagers, some grain, wheat/rye, toast.. Palate: average bitterness, clean, some acidity, lingering warmth.. Overall: middle of the road lager, good for a hot day, would drink again, but would not go out of my way to buy..

Drunk from a giant 1 liter can brought back from Russia. Pour is very very pale almost witbier pale. Aroma is sweet, grainy with a hint of aluminum. Drunk ice cold so taste is bearable and pretty typical for a European pale lager. Sweet, no bitterness at all. Actually better than what I expected.

The beer looks like a regular pilsener. The color of the beer is a nice lovely golden yellow. The beer has a simple layer of foam. It’s quite simple. The smell is simple to. It’s just pilsener. There is a mild sweet aroma of malts. There is hardly any hoppy bitterness. It’s quite simple. The taste is a bit better. It has a strong malty base and a tiny hoppy bitter to it. It’s nice, good for this warm weather. Not wilds greatest beer though.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2016 Dose (50 cl) aus dem Pyongyang Shop, Pjöngjang. - Goldgelb, blank; kurzlebiger Schaum.

1.0l can. Russian version of euro-lagers. Malty aroma, pale golden colour, no head. Malty taste, soapy. Watery body with medium carbonation and bitter finish. Not a good beer.
