SODAK14 (55), Rapid City, South Dakota, USA Oct 10, 2008 You know that food that tastes better than it smells? Well this beer smells better than it tastes. I thought I had a real find when I poured this beer. Great aroma, then total disappointment with an almost tasteless beer. Not sure how that could happen but it did. beerguy101 (3488), Newark, California, USA Sep 18, 2008 Sampled 9/18/08. Bottled on 6/8/08. This Pale Lager pours a light yellow gold color from a green pull top cap 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with nice retention. The aroma is cereal and corn. A medium to light bodied pale lager. The malts are cereal and grain, touch of corn. The hops are floral and spicy. Very lively carbonation helps balance out some of the corn sweetness. A touch watery and a little harsh, but its not bad for a pale lager. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. fata2683 (183), APO, New York, USA Sep 14, 2008 More like a commercial American lager than anything else. Everyone else I was with raved over this, it is very easy to drink, but lacks flavor. I recommend the porter, it’s light years ahead. jbuzz (518), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Sep 2, 2008 Single bottle from Woodmans Oak Creek. I am a fan of this Brewery as i did like tlke this beer/ It is a bit skunky and tastes very american JuStuka (156), , Mexico Sep 2, 2008 Nothing special in this beer just the classic lager flavor, not good not bad.
