Tall boy can served in a half pint. A: Pours a clear yellow color with a quick dissolving white head forming on the pour. No lace. Nothing crazy. S: Some mineral water with a light skunky hop profile. Pale malts with a touch of glue. T: More mineral water with some light plastic to boot. Grassy and skunky hop profile with a touch of grainy malts. M: Light and clean. The body is very watery and light. Goes down quick and harmless. O: There were some artificial notes in there that really hurt the flavor, otherwise it would have been a normal export lager. Serving type: can

This is one of many terrible beers I sampled. Pours P P yellow (when you’ve had a few). Strong, sweet schmaltzy corn taste. Since this official system can’t give it a zero, it gets this. Yeesh....

(M.A. 27-01-2014) (1133-300614)

Review: Bottle of Baltika 7 Eksportnoe (Export) 5.4%ABV Baltika 7 Eksportnoe, a handful to pronounce, is an interesting pale lager with its own unique taste coming all way from St. Petersburg, Moscow. On pour there is a nice pale yellow appearance with a good frothy head which dies eventually to show some lacing. The aroma is of sweet malt and grain producing a lovely rustic kind of smell that is both strong and appealing on the nose. The taste is of some sweet malts, was slightly hoppy, with some light barley malt. Overall I found that Baltika 7 Eksportnoe was quite easy to drink and it did the business after a long day of work. Having said that though, there was a small aftertaste that was quite strong but that brought a nice balance to the beer and I recommend this as a good session beer.

Bottle at home from backlog notes 07/08. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet grainy malt, corn, some skunky notes, light floral on the nose. Hard pass.
