2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy Dark Yellow, Almost Brown, Huge Head, Decent Lacing. Pour Color Scared me, probably not the freshest batch. Once again, no way to tell since there are no date stamps.Faint clove and banana aroma. Standard hefeweizen: wheat, clove, banana, bubblegum, yeast, sour finish. Soft carbonation, watery, refreshing, a little bland, once again going back to not being the freshest bottle.Extra points for being my favorite style and not being another Euro Pale Lager. Average, Drinkable. Probably the only Baltika Product, so far, that I would be willing to repeat. OK

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle from supermarket in Vyborg. Hazy pale golden colour, enormous white head,. Plenty of banana in the aroma and some other fruit and spicyness, hint of tar. Medium body and lively carbonation. A bit less sweet taste than many other mass-produced hefeweizens, extremely refreshing. Nothing too interesting but certainly an excellent Summer drink.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
It’s a crafty imitation of German Hefeweizen. Average aroma, average taste. I would select this again for some reasons.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted with a group of friends against a certain Hefeweizen made in Erding. Although both beers were very similar, the stronger (fun) bubblegum component on the nose and taste won the sympathies of all the group for this Russian version.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I think mine must have gone off because the taste is far too yeasty. I’ll have to try this one again another time.

I enjoyed it because it was warm and sunny. Otherwise, there’s nothing special about this chemical hefe weizen.

550 ml bottle. Pours a golden yellow a large white slowly fading head. Aroma and Taste of wheat, some grassy notes, lightly fruity and slightly barn yard. Palate is a medium body, with moderate carbonation. Finishes with a taste of wheat, grassy notes, light fruity. Basically a fairly boring brew, very non descript. ok for a hot summer day.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy, pale golden beer with a nice, white head on top. Aroma is yeasty, citrussy and has little hints of banana. Flavour is medium sweet, wheaty and light on lemon. Aftertaste is short, medium sweet again. Not too special, just an average weizen.
