3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From the 25 fl. oz. bottle marked 07.0812-07:24/07.0813-5W. It pours a murky pale yellow with a foamy white head. There is a lively aroma of wheat and apple with a fresh hop note too. The body is light to medium. The taste has a bold wheat and apple or lemon quality to it along with the yeast that envelopes everything into one overarching flavor. One of the better Baltika offerings.

Pint bottle. Poured a mostly clear golden yellow color with a white top and a tiny bit of sediment at the bottom of the glass. Taste of watered down banana, clove, and wheat.

It is a nice beer, but it is behind so many others of the same type. A common wheat beer.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle via Sloth......still wondering about you Bertly. Nose and appearance seem average for a wheat beer. First taste is lackluster wanna be German wheat beer. It truly turns the corner for the worse at the finish which is sour and foul. I nearly spit it out, but I had just painted the room. Ugh.. this was bad

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Almost captures the weizen style in appearance, however head is more foamy then creamy. Aroma has tinge of chemical smell, with hints of banana, however the chemical smell burns the nose. Taste doesn’t fare much better, like one of those fake banana candies. I’ll stick with the German (and Bavarian) weizens from now on....

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Appearance: thick white head, darker golden color, very hazy, retains head well, not much lacing though
Aroma: banana, creamy, frothy, smells good, very aromatic, caramel, lemon
Taste: caramel, malt, hint of lemon
Palate: moderate c02, feels heavy on the tongue, leaves a caramel aftertaste
Overall: very good beer, my first Russian beer and it's different than I was expecting in a good way, refreshing

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Foamy white head. Cloudy dull yellow body. Tons of bubbles. Slight banana aroma. Flavor is muted. Sort of like a banana cream pudding. Slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Pretty much what I expected for a "European industrial" beer. Still, it’s better than Bud or Miller!!
