Optigon (547), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Apr 2, 2007 Pours cloudy orange with a thin head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Full mouth feel. Flavor of wheat, some citrus (lemon-style).
OD40oz (400), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA Sep 7, 2008 I was a little dissapointed in this beer. I generally like wheat beers but this was just didn’t do it for me. Very cloudy yellow with a somewhat citrus taste. I would definitely say that I like Russian women better than Russian beer. fata2683 (86), APO, New York, USA Aug 24, 2008 Bottle Manas AB Kyrgystan. Tastes just like Franziskaner so I was happy. Maybe not quite as smooth but a solid wheat regardless. Cheap too. djones (63), Michigan, USA Aug 23, 2008 Hazy yellow with a tinge of orange in color. Sweet and citrusy flavors dominate. Smooth wheaty feel. Nothing extraordinary, but tasty with a citrus finish. Bungalo22 (282), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA Aug 22, 2008 With all the Russia talk lately I felt like cracking open one of their beers, so I did. It was a cloudy yellow with a nice looking head. It smells floral and citrus filled. A decent aroma. It had a nice full-bodied hefeweizen body. Nothing super special here but certainly worth having again, especially at the price. 50cl for $1.50. Pershing (84), Garland, Texas, USA Aug 20, 2008 Murky yellow with a small head. Sweet citrisy taste that is over powering. This beer could hardly be called a hefeweizen. Not very enjoyable.
