2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Poured this out to a very pleasant, light foam head that left decent lacing for a the entirety of it. Aroma is very light, not much there, but some wheat and light distant citrus. Taste is similar, there’s not that much to dwell on, there’s wheat and some grass or citrus, some small yeast smell and taste. Palate is even, not long lasting, not too short, no "wow factor" to this beer, it’s pretty forgettable.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Hazy golden brew with decent head with only a slight aroma of citrus. Taste is mild wheat with not enough zest. Something is not quit right about this one and looking at the ingredients listed it might be too much pilsner not enough wheat. Drinkable but could have been done better.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Turbid, unfiltered, orange yellow with big creamy white top. Another very good beer from Baltika. Carslberg Baltika is better then Carlsberg itself! Medium sweet, very fresh. Superb carbonation, lovely and better than many German hefeweizen.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
DATE TASTED: April 19, 2015... GLASSWARE: Weihenstephaner weizen... OCCASION: the Cavs (again) begin their journey to a title... APPEARANCE: cloudy, sallow yellow body with bubble that lazily, sporadically float; mountainous foams of white head spill over the glass--quite alive! tracings leave spore-like dots in their wake!... AROMA: heavy banana dominates; clove, pepper and mowed hay--the standard weizen array... PALATE: a surprisingly thin, even profile, especially for an "unfiltered" beer; easily drinkable and equally refreshing... TASTE: the banana is not as pronounced as the scent suggests, but beyond the fruit, subtle pepper; not much beyond these two soft offerings... OVERALL: Having tried just about every single-digit Baltika profile, this offering is somewhere in the middle--accurate to its genre but not memorable; a good pairing with warm weather or an after-workout refresher...
