Bottle from Matt Geyer at CAH. Russian Colt 45. Pours dehydrated piss color. Nose of floor cleaner and morning after a frat party. First sip is spoiled cider with boozy formaldyde. Finish is least offensive part. Prrobably the worst beer I ever had.

500 ml bottle, label says production date of 24.04.11, best before 24.04.12. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear golden color with about an inch white head. Head retention is decent, and there’s a small amount of lacing. The brew smells like corn/grain, sweet malt and some alcohol. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma. There’s a strong corny/grainy sweetness, with some alcohol noticeable too. The sweetness was a little much after a while. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium with a good amount of carbonation. Well, this beer isn’t awful, but it’s not exactly good either. I guess it’s close enough to average overall, maybe a little below.

16.9oz bottle - pours pale gold with quickly diminishing head and faint lacing. Nose is pilsner hops. Aroma is alcohol, sweet malts and hops. Taste is sweet and mildly bitter. Burpy. Metallic aftertaste. I like strong beers but this one is very generic.

Pours a faint copper golden, with moderate head that dissipates fairly quickly. Sweet aroma, sugar, canned corn and alcoholic aroma. Tastes very very sugary sweet, not malty sweet, but sweetness in the form of raw sugar and or dextrose. Fairly well carbonated gives impression of a sparkling beer however the medium body and fairly full mouthfeel suggest a heavily adjuncted brew. Hops give very little to no character and there really isn’t enough bittering to balance the sweetness. I had to dump half of it because it is rather unpalatable.

Just a rather boring beer. To strong to be a thirst-squezeer, to little tast to be interesting.

Bottle. Golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light fruitiness, alcohol. Medium, malty and sweetish flavor, caramel and light bread, light fruitiness and alcohol. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and light bread with lots of alcohol. Typical East-European "alco-lager".

Aroma is very grainy and mildly fruity. The flavor is similar to the aroma, with an almost tobacco quality to it and a mild alcohol bite to it. This brewery has been surprising, all of their brews, including this have been pretty decent.

It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of corn, malts and alcohol. The flavor was of sweet caramel and grain. Rather bland.
