500ml. can from Kyoto Yamaya. Strongish sweet malt nose, with light alc. fumes. Clear pale straw, thick fluffy white head, good lace. Sweet fruity initial, peaches, carrot juice, white wine, grain serious alc. warmth, very little bittering. Thin-medium body. Heavy duty grainy stuff. Overall, not so good. A beer that you feel rather too quickly, without any compensating flavors to make it worthwhile.

Bottle. Gold color. Not much head. Aroma is a nasty sweet smell. Taste is really weird. Malty and sickening sweet.

16.9oz bottle. Pours a fizzy yellow with foamy white head. Grainy aroma. Extremely sweet, like cotton candy sweet. Light bodied and drinkable. Sweet finish. Almost like malt liquor. Not much here to recommend.

Poured at tasting with 2 others and I was the only one brave enough to swallow. Pale yellow with a weak white "head" little to no aroma and taste was same. Terrible, drain pour.

Can sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond Shop. Thanks DSG for a superb 2K rate!!! Clear pale gold with white wave. Sugary and a little metallic aroma, nasty metallic taste with some artificial chocolate. Light-to-medium body with some sweetness in the end.

I'm not a lager fan and this is a lager. Fun to try a Russian beer but don't need it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the archives: beer full of ABV. Hoppy and malty, but watery and has an aftertaste of vodka. If you are on a budget - get wasted with this one.
