1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours light, clear yellow. Some white head. Aroma is basically like an american lager, but much sweeter. Taste is sweet up front, almost sickly so, with something akin to dates in the finish. Not much to this one. Lingers. Er.

3.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours light amber. Aroma of malt and palate follows the same. Caramel and crystal malts dominate. Still at 8.5 % but yet a nice malty sweet finish. Some people really down this beer but I think its great

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2013 What a nasty beer. Strong alcoholic flavor and an aftertaste like gasoline. Pure crap.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can, 500ml. Pours a pale yellow beer with a nice, two finer of white creamy head that settles quickly into nothing. Aroma is sweet, ethanol and quite boozy. Flavour is also sweet and I have the feeling that is has some artificial, second grade alcohol in it. Has this petrol smell and flavor to it. We’ll find out tomorrow. Quite and uninteresting and rather disgusting brew..

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, 500 ml, bought in Greece as Baltika 9 Extra Lager, Krepkoe on the crown cap. Poured into my Guinness pint glass. ABV 8%
Golden yellow colour, good activity in it. Thin white head, one finger tall maybe. Average retention, not much lacing.
Aroma has hints of apples, slighty malty. If there is anything else in there is covered by the obvious and heavy alcohol smell.
Too much alcohol on the taste too, some light malts, grass. Alcohol on the aftertaste too.
Medium thick body, light to medium carbonation. Fairly dry palate.
Overall an average beer, good only to get you drunk fast.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bought from a supermarket in Kazakhstan. A Carlsberg Kazakhstan beer. By far the worst beer I’ve tried to far in my beer tasting experience. Vile vile stuff. Took me a few hours to drink a 0.5 litre bottle of this stuff. I may as well have just knocked back half a litre of vodka. Such a strong alcohol taste. Undrinkable. Once again vile stuff. Enough said!

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours amber with a frothy white head. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is syrupy, slightly boozy malt with notes of corn.
Taste is sweet up front, but finishes with a bitter, boozy metallic, somewhat off flavor.
Mouthfeel is fairly full. Carbonation is pretty lively.
Drinkable, but not particularly good. This must be what Putin drinks when he thinks too much about the fact that the people only follow him because they feel compelled to do so by centuries of slave mentality.
