At least this one has some flavour to give it some character, unlike the other two I had last night. Still an easy drinker which I guess is a plus at 8%

Light blond in color, heavy in alcohol. Nothing interesting, only one you need man is a cooler. I cannot imagine to drink this beer up to 5 degree Celsium. B@H

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with very faint notes of hops. Sweet flavour of malt and yeast, quickly offset by offensively bitter alcohol notes and some hoppy hints. A massive attack of cardboard tanks (T34?) closes the battle, leaving nothing to salvage. Not my favourite style and definitely not my favourite beer. Despite my Polish origin, I have never understood what it is that makes people east of Eden delight in superboozy concoctions of lager death.

50cl bottle. Clear yellow colour with a thin white head. Malty, caramel and grassy aroma. Soft to average carbonation and light to medium body. Taste is a bit sweet with some metallic notes. Overall, a boring beer but drinkable though.

Rated based on notes taken 24 Feb 2012 -- Whenever I used to buy this beer it was usually because you got a lot of "bang for your buck". The ABV to price was very nice. That being said I enjoy this beer, clean, easy drinking, good malt.

Bottle 0,5 l, PiwoCzas, Wrocław, Poland. Złote piwo z puszystą pianą na dwa palce i słodowym aromatem. W smaku zdecydowanie słodowe z minimalnie goryczkowym, rozgrzewającym finiszem.

You must be kidding me. This is my 750th rating and I am drinking Baltika. Is this some kind of sick joke? OK, I’ll make the best of this. Pale gold with no head. Sweet malt nose. Metallic malt flavor with obvious alcohol burn when swallowed. Ugh, why would anybody purchase this. My son did because he likes to try beers from impoverished totalitarian rudimentary monopolistic /dictatorships! Avoid this at all costs.
