3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sweet malty nose, bread, roasty, bit yeasty, honey, grass, herbs, clove; clear light golden, frothy touch of off-white head, reduces to thin layer that remains all the way, nice lacing; full mild bitterness in combination with light malty sweetness and spicy undertones; full body, thick texture, good carbonation; finish at first dry mild bitterness, followed by slightly sweet roasted maltiness, some alcohol. Well-balanced beer, I like it.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thin white head. Aroma is grainy, malty and with some spicy hints. Flavor is bitter, grainy and with some wet hay. Boring but I suppose if you’re going for malt liquor, this ain’t that bad.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle thanks to ditmier. Pours out golden topped with a off white head. The nose is sweetness of honey grass and some malt. Taste is as the nose with lots of sweetness some corn and the grass shows up again. Not as bad as I was thinking it was going to be.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel malt, grassy and floral hops, dark fruits and alcohol. Taste starts with moderate sweet malt, continues with caramel, honey and alcohol, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, syrupy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Classic strong pale lager taste, not bad at all...

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
ahh yes, the Russian Euro Power Lager tick. pours straw yellow, light fizzy head powered by lots of visible carbonation. nose is mostly clean with some very faint malt. taste is also bland with light malt, some spice hops, and elmer’s glue finish. body is light and booze factor well hidden. I’d be lying if I did not say this was better than expect. In mother Russia, you not spank monkey... monkey spank you.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle! Ooh, this one isn’t good, man - I really disagree with the description. Decent bubbly head, okay lacing, looks good enough. Tastes pretty gnarly, man. Strong lager, using a little more of the same uninteresting malt as their other beer’s, I’d guess...they even admit they use malt syrup, Wrong.

sweet malts, murky dough, bready in a bad way... no hops? taste is far to carbs are too light to hide anything and the finish is horribly thicky sweetish and old...

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The strongest beer I’ve tasted so far, 8%. Its alcoholic aroma and taste changes the general features of this beer pretty much. I don’t know yet if most of strong beers are the same. But sadly, I don’t like that.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
500ml bottle from hypermarket in St. Petersburg, clear gold colour, medium rocky head. Somewhat spicy aroma of grain, booze and fruit and a hint of floral hops. Taste is sweetish boozy, abrupt finish, medium body (quite a feat with such a strength). The worst one I’ve tried from Baltika thus far, probably finisheable with enough dried fish.
