Flaska från @msbrindbergs, tack! Gul vätska med vitt skum. Förvånansvärt lätt doft och smak. Jag förväntade mig värre.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Light off whitee diminishing head. Pale clear golden body. Not much lacings to talk about.
Aroma; wort, caramel malts, brown bread.
Taste; caramel malts, apple, alco hops, bitter syrup.
Somewhat sticky on palate. Finishes fruity in a way. A bit too boozy for my taste.

"Another Baltika from BevMo. Cheap brews...i’ve had some quality ones. This is kinda good for a lager/strong lager, but ultimately forgetable. Alcohol shows through some very light grassy hops and honey sweetness. Nothing is off too much, but everything is just below average."

From Russia with love literally!
Baltika #9 actually stronger at 8 ABV than the #6 Baltika porter with a 7% ABV. Kind of a hybrid that is kinda different initially tasting then finishes with a bock like sweet finish.
Also kinda tasted like a milder version of the baltika #9 for sweetness which is oddly appealing.
pretty sweet taste for a lager but definitely better than macro brews.
Available at Bevmo for $2.49 a bottle a descent price. Only real down note kinda lingering headache from cheaper sweet additives.

Golden yellow, minimal white head. Mild fruity aroma with some orange. Quite nice taste with slight sweetness. Soft mouthfeel, mild carbonation. Pretty good for the style.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma of honey and corn syrup. Pours clear gold with a decent soapy white head that leaves lacing. Flavor is syrupy sweet, not enough balance, very grainy and sweet. Has a nice alcohol kick, some Russian hooch for your gullet. It’s better than most American macros, at least it’s neither a dirty fermentation nor dominated by adjunct grains. Cloyingly sweet, like a corn syrup bomb, don’t think I will repeat.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle - light golden with a fizzy white head that fades to nothing. Aroma of honey, malt, toasty malt and a touch of fruit. Taste is syrup and treacle followed by some roasty malt and light bitterness. Slightly warming - a bit watery. Medium body, strong carbonation. Best of the Baltikas that I’ve had, surprisingly.
