A strong lager beer with a taste close to classic lager varieties. The flavor is light and there is a suggestion of malt, together with sweetish notes and mild hops bitterness.
Ingredients: water, light barley malt, maltose syrup and hops.
Produced since 1998. 16.5°

Light amber color. Medium head that dissipates slowly. Light cabonation. Taste is not as bad as some of the reviewers claim, but not very interesting either. Similarly, the high abv is not overwhelming, but is evident. Basically, a high octane light beer that is not bad, but not memorable either

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2005 This looks good, nice golden color with a sustained, creamy white head. But it smells like it was filtered using someone’s gym socks, then stored in an uncured skunk’s bladder. Soft in the mouth, it’s sweet yet burning, leaving with a hot, metallic finish. I thought the Cold War was over. Why is Russia sending us this malt liquor? My tongue is hot, my stomach is churning, my eyes are watering, and my bowels are involuntarily relaxing. Gotta go now...

Aroma: Skunk. Appearance: Very golden urine. Nice head with good lacing. Palate was dry yet lively. Flavor reminds me of Special Export. A bit skunky. Grainy. Hint of astringent.

Pours a white/gold color. Aroma of stale malt/skunkyness. Flavor is similar, rusty skunky cardboard.

clear yellow w/ a thick frothy white head smells extremly bad skunky w/ a medium body and good carbonation tastes very grainy and of alcohol fairly non invasiive.. but the stench overwelms the flavor... still better than most of the malt liquors tonight

Turpentiney aroma with sweet donut malt notes. Finishes with gin. Decent stuff.

Very, very smooth for a strong beer, I could hardly notice the alcohol in it, very nice and easy to drink, I bought this in Germany, but wish we had it in the states, probably the best malt liquor I´ve had, without a doubt, flavor was weak, but not dominated by alcohol, can´t wait to have this again! good balance!

Pours a nice creamy head that lingers very well. Great clear golden color. Little aroma of malt and aromatic esters. Taste is weak, almost all alcohol with nothing up front and behind. Alcoholics dream. Not really hot on the palate as I expected. Very smooth actually. Interesting, but not very good.

Bottled. Pale golden colour. Somewhat lacey, medium, but quickly diminishing head. Malty aroma with hints of molasses and alcohol. Malty, sweet taste. I like this beer, because what sets it apart from most malt liqours and european strong lagers is the freshness I experienced in this beer. Okay, maybe the taste is a bit one-dimensional and simple, but it has a good mouthfeel and presents it high ABV with a certain degree of easiness, remaining refreshing all the time.
