3.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The color of this beer is that of a typical pale lager--crisp yellow--with a medium white head, and the aroma of the beer smells strongly of alcohol and lightly of yeast. The taste is slightly sweet but strongly umami, and the palate combines a light body, an oily texture, soft carbonation, and an abrupt finish after a kick soon after swallowing.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Malty aroma and taste,. Although mouthfeel is fairly heavy, taste is mostly pure malt, but not overbearing. Pours fairly flat. No alcohol burn even though it has a relatively high ABV.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours nearly clear, deep gold with a small, off-white head.
Scent is light, lemon/apple malt...
Taste is honey, lightly spiced.
A stale feel to it....increasing alcohol presence.
Not the best from Baltika.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aromas a maltas, grano, lupulo y alcohól.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled 19/01/13. A golden coloured beer with no head. A pretty crude strong lager. Boozy. Apple and honey sweetness. Headachey. Not got the nice fruits of some super strong Euro lagers but it’s still OK.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
16.9 oz bottle to pint. Looks alright; a semi-transparent orangish-gold with white lacing. Smells of dough and stale apple cider. Tastes like it smells with a below average mouthfeel. Not good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is the kind of beer that I REALLY shouldn’t like, but there’s just no helping me sometimes; this tastes just fine to me. Tastes and smells like honey kvass with hops added. It finishes a bit like a bourbon whisky; corny, grainy and a little woody- bracing, but it invites you back in. Nearly amber in color- looks like cheap maple syrup straight from the microwave. This is what I buy when I want to get VERY drunk VERY quickly and not have too much to complain about as far as taste (it’s a little like drinking a loaf of bread, soggy with hard liquor). It warms you up like no other. Gotta be good for that Russian winter.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared with MichaelBruch, Deep golden colour with low head. Nose of malt. Taste of strong alcohol, rich malt, low hops, ripe nuts and strong barley. Very nice.

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared with McTapps. No real nose available but the all around aroma and the taste are full of alcohol and honey. I was surprised how fast you can drink that high abv beer. Not bad, but you should be aware of the high alc. In the end anuce surprise which hits you.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear gold with yeast floaties enjoying the co2 bubble-ride from a SS etched pint lager glass.
Aroma is kinda sweet, malty, butter, even somewhat strong cocoa/nut (almond?) like notes strangely, kind of a spice.
Taste is grainy/malty,mildly buttery, some fruit,a strange cocoa/spice taste, alcohol, starting to get a weird finish, maybe the maltose syrup character?. Not shure if I can finish it all or not.
