1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JUN 2, 2015 BOTTLE 50 CL.
Clear yellow, below average white head. Faint sweet (a touch of honey?) aroma with just a touch of fusels. The taste is also sweetish and quite clean, with a hint of hops in the finish. A less bad strong lager.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Beers of Europe.
Pours golden, clear, single finger white head. Aroma of grass, grain, light wheat, honey. Taste of initial grass, then some grain, light floral notes, then honey sweetness and a decent whack of alcohol. Not bad at all!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
6 oz pour from chilled bottle into shaker pint. A little hazy and yellow with moderate carbonation. Sweet honey nose. Taste is incredibly sweet-- too much for me. Honey with an herbal finish. Aftertaste was a bit skunky. Maybe a bad batch?

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear orange color beer with a bubbling small white head that goes away immediately. Aroma is malty and grainy, with toasted and corn notes; alcohol is clearly felt. Flavor is very sweet but bitterness is also relevant. Body is oily and carbonation is low.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Tasted 12/4/15. BB 25.04.15. Poured a crystal clear amber with a few white bubbles for a collar. Lacing virtually nil. Carbonation very low and medium. Aroma of grain/corn and a hint of spices; no obvious hops; alcohol hidden. Taste dominated by earthy grains; no real bitterness; alcohol comes through as it warms; gets sour as it warms. Light body. Sweet with a syrupy mouth-feel. Strong alcohol on the finish. Best drunk cold as it gets virtually undrinkable as it warms.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A heavy beer in the style of eastern lagers. This is an optimal beer for meat dishes and for anything heavy. A good tasting beer with some sweetness. All in all a good Russian beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Russian import bottle - Malty malt malt taste with little but malt to describe. There's a faint whiff of hops but not much of a taste.
