A very light yellow beer with almost no head. A light sweet aroma. The flavor is strong alcohol right from the beginning with a pretty sweet experience afterward and then ending suddenly - no bitterness to wrap of the flavor. Not a very pleasant example of a Barley Wine/Malt Liquor.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Golden with a small but rather creamy and very white head. Pronounced alcohol but just about no aroma. Just a very strong lager. 200604
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 yespr (22161) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 17, 2008
50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a creamy white head. Smooth and mild cornish aroma, not as offensive alcohol dense as I would have expected. Flavour is sweet and somewhat fruity towards artificial though. Mild spiced cornish and light caramel/biscuit malt presence, quite smooth and with alcohol rather well hidden yet present. Few sips are fine, whole bottle (which I by far couldn’t finish) would be cloying due to the building artificial sweetness and alcohol.
2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 oh6gdx (16000) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 18, 2005
Canned. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Skunked hops and caramellish malt in aroma. Fruit, caramellish malt and weak hops in flavour. Sticky palate and unbalanced. Alcohol is wellhidden until it gets closer to room temperature.

Judging from the picture this beer is Baltika 9 Krelkoe, which is the one I’ve tried. Pale yellow. Fruity aroma. Alcohol is prominent, rather clean, but some vegeatble aroma. Sweet, low bitterness. Typical malt liquor.

Bottle, 8%. Clear golden colour. Big stable rocky white head. Sweet flavour, quite peppery. Hint of marcipan in the finish. A standard east European strong lager.

Just some sweetness, nothing else to remark; would be better with improved hop character.
