Clear light medium to yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, toasted, sweet malt, fruit, malt syrup. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, alcohol - spicy burn. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a creamy white head. Smooth and mild cornish aroma, not as offensive alcohol dense as I would have expected. Flavour is sweet and somewhat fruity towards artificial though. Mild spiced cornish and light caramel/biscuit malt presence, quite smooth and with alcohol rather well hidden yet present. Few sips are fine, whole bottle (which I by far couldn’t finish) would be cloying due to the building artificial sweetness and alcohol.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
A very light yellow beer with almost no head. A light sweet aroma. The flavor is strong alcohol right from the beginning with a pretty sweet experience afterward and then ending suddenly - no bitterness to wrap of the flavor. Not a very pleasant example of a Barley Wine/Malt Liquor.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Judging from the picture this beer is Baltika 9 Krelkoe, which is the one I’ve tried. Pale yellow. Fruity aroma. Alcohol is prominent, rather clean, but some vegeatble aroma. Sweet, low bitterness. Typical malt liquor.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Just some sweetness, nothing else to remark; would be better with improved hop character.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a finger-thick white head. Fruity, sweetish nose with pale malts and some higher alcohols. Sweet, full-bodied and warming in the mouth, with fruityness and some bitterness. Not much bitterness though, neither initially nor in the very end. Overall it’s not really a bad beer, but the higher alcohols are a bit disturbing, and I won’t miss it if I never am to drink it again. 090829
