1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear, light gold pour w/ little head. Mildly hoppy aroma. Lightly carbonated mouthfeel and mild malty flavor with a tinge of hop bitterness. sweetish finish. A pretty light, mild beer for being labeled "Strong" and 8%.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Serving type: bottle
Apearance- Pours a golden yellow with a nice white foamy head and good lacing
Aroma- A crisp smell of malt and hops
T/P- Taste is like a standard lager with a bit more bitterness to it mixed with some sweetness.
Overall- It is drinkable, not the best around pretty average a very typical lager with slightly more flavor.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear tanned golden beer with small white head. The malt aromas are more evident, some grain, syrup, corn notes are felt. The taste has a lot of malt flavors, but also the alcohol make is sweet and maybe because of that the hops donít make a significant change at the end.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma of honey and corn syrup. Pours clear gold with a decent soapy white head that leaves lacing. Flavor is syrupy sweet, not enough balance, very grainy and sweet. Has a nice alcohol kick, some Russian hooch for your gullet. Itís better than most American macros, at least itís neither a dirty fermentation nor dominated by adjunct grains. Cloyingly sweet, like a corn syrup bomb, donít think I will repeat.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Took a flyer on this bottle from BevMo. Slightly hoppy, malty aroma. Poured a golden yellow with a fizzy head that didnít last long. The high alcohol content overpowered the sweetness, carmel, and grainy notes. Just didnít work for me.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden yellow, minimal white head. Mild fruity aroma with some orange. Quite nice taste with slight sweetness. Soft mouthfeel, mild carbonation. Pretty good for the style.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
75 oz bottle. Pours dark and watery with a thin head. Aroma of wet dog. Flavor follows aroma with added sweetness and overpowering alcohol. This makes me as well as my friends cringe. Avoid this stuff.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
This was the first russian beer i drink, golden color, grain aroma, sweet flavour, not enough strong for a strong lager.

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Poured a nasty yellow so light i really contemplated pouring it out immediately. It looks identical to the pee i took minutes ago, albeit less cloudy. Not much to smell. Not bad for a malt liqour. thatís like saying, it wasnít the worst diahrea iíve had. i hate going to the store and "finding" something and thinking "extra lager" is kinda like an imperial lager - i know that doesnít exist, but SHIT, neither should the #9 Baltika. At least iím gonna get drunk!
