A strong lager beer with a taste close to classic lager varieties. The flavor is light and there is a suggestion of malt, together with sweetish notes and mild hops bitterness.
Ingredients: water, light barley malt, maltose syrup and hops.

Bottle. Pours a yellowish amber, very clear with a thick white head. Aroma was very malty, a little sweet with a touch of citrus sourness. Taste was very sweet, malty with a sugary sour aftertaste. Thick on the palate.

Bottle 1pint poured a watery unlaced nothingness into my glass. The upside it the alc. content of 8% is fairly masked but no taste comes through.

Aroma of honey and corn syrup. Pours clear gold with a decent soapy white head that leaves lacing. Flavor is syrupy sweet, not enough balance, very grainy and sweet. Has a nice alcohol kick, some Russian hooch for your gullet. Itís better than most American macros, at least itís neither a dirty fermentation nor dominated by adjunct grains. Cloyingly sweet, like a corn syrup bomb, donít think I will repeat.

Poured from the bottle a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is of grain and some grassy notes. Flavor is a sweet grain and alcohol.

I did not feel that it was too bad of an ale. Big Bastard is correct about it being similar to an American standard, but the powerful alcohol flavor proves otherwise. It is sweet and warms your stomach upon each sip. The Alcohol was also noted in the aroma as soon as I cracked the bottle open. If these traits could have been hidden better or just made somewhat smoother, this would be an alright brew.

Really hides the alcohol well. Very smooth drinking. Mildly carbonated, and somewhat sweet. Not grassy or skunky. I would rate higher if it had any flavor, but it was very plain. Overall not bad at all.

Serving type: bottle Apearance- Pours a golden yellow with a nice white foamy head and good lacing Aroma- A crisp smell of malt and hops T/P- Taste is like a standard lager with a bit more bitterness to it mixed with some sweetness. Overall- It is drinkable, not the best around pretty average a very typical lager with slightly more flavor.

Bottle. Golden body, light bittesweet taste, not offensive. Medium to heavy carbonation, thin to medium body, watery texture. Nothing special.

This grew out of a partnership between Efes and Baltika. So this is similar to Efes Extra, a very good strong lager. Pours pale yellow like a good pils. Great foamy white head, fades slowly with some nice lace. Aromas of alcohol, apple, yeast. Tastes of apple, light hops, sweet fruit and malt. Good all-around lager (by the way, itís bottom fermented). Iíd have it for a daily drinker -- beats hell out of Bud and Miller.

Was debating today, new beer or Stone RIS, new beer, or Stone RIS . . . went with the new beer, bad choice. Aroma is nasty with hints of sweetness and yeast. Pours clear and pale, little head. Flavor is dominated by a sweet fruitiness and an alcoholic finish. I mean, it has some aroma and flavor to it, it is just nasty. Ugh, gonna be tough to finish.
