2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled in pint glass from 16.9 oz bottle.
Appearance: pours a 2" sudsy white head that drops slowly with mild lacing. Color is clear light gold with moderate streaming bubbles.
Aroma: strong grain husks and lightly toasted barley with some grassy hops.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied, crisp, with a dry, somewhat astringent finish.
Flavor: strong sweet barley malt (almost cloying), grain husks, some grape like flavor, grassy hops.
Overall: too strong for my tastes, but has no off flavors. Recommended for those that like the style.

Oh yeah.. pop the top and get a whiff of the Steel Reserver, er, Olde English, or ... If this was advertised as a malt liquor and a fraction of the price and in a larger bottle, it would be rather decent. This one’s for the malt fans...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
A malt liquor that masks the alcohol very well. Slightly sweet with a hint of bitterness. Everything about it was average, except for mouthfeel, which was rather like having cotton in your mouth...go figrue that one out, I haven’t. Put this in a 40 and market it as a high-class malt liquor import, which it is...

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear orange color beer with a bubbling small white head that goes away immediately. Aroma is malty and grainy, with toasted and corn notes; alcohol is clearly felt. Flavor is very sweet but bitterness is also relevant. Body is oily and carbonation is low.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
1 Pint Bottle
Poured golden yellow with white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma was flowery to me, but didn’t smell all that great. First taste brought out flowery tones, corriander I thought, the finish was sweet like Vanilla. It was an interesting taste. Good thing was I couldn’t taste the 8% alcohol. However, I don’t think that I would get this again, not my style. It was labeled as a Strong Ale.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Its the baltika number 8 with some rubbing alcohol and esters artificialy added. Although it is corectly clasified as a Malt Liqour here, the bottle says Pale beer witch leads you to believe it might be a pale lager... its not , it is a true malt liqour and it is to be consumed from the bottle with a brown paper bag over it.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
the only good thing about this is that the 8% alcohol isnt real obvious. other than that it’s a boring, bland beer. not much flavor or aroma to speak of. Zzzzzzz.....

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
F: white average, not long lasting.
C: pale yellow to golden, clear.
A: very weak malt, hint of hops.
T: mostly malt, with some grassy hops, alcohol, sweet on the palate, medium body, average carbonation, some fruity tones, I think not as bad as many people wrote there.
