Bottle at Firewaters in Atlantic City...a sweet yeasty smell and flavor...white head, pale yellow body- a berry aroma (blues & reds)....smells mostly like a typical lager...a touch of malts...reminiscent of a cranberry, medium-bodied and pleasant....quite palatable and the 8% well hidden

Sep 7, 2008 Wow. This is really bad. Think malt liquor bad. Sweet, medium carbonation in the body. Has this pukey taste to it. Yuk.

Sep 4, 2008 Bottle. Clear golden colour with a medium white head. Sweet malts and some grain in nose. Medium body. Flavour is rather sweet and fruity with a long sweet alcoholic aftertaste. Not that bad.

Aug 30, 2008 Very pale, almost no head. Smells alcohol mead, raisins, citrus. Taste very bad. Alcohol, not much else. Blah.

Aug 29, 2008 Golden orange in color. I tried this when I went to a specialty liquor store to buy 5 new beers so I could hit 400 ratings and as soon as I walked in the door a guy gave me a cup of this to drink. Not too shabby. Had an almost sweet taste to it. I bought the Baltika porter and I hope it is better than this one.
