Crystal clear golden pour with no head. The aroma sweet corn and alcohol. The body is fruity, with peaches and caramel. Lighter notes of cotton candy and bubble gum with a harsh alcohol finish. This will be hard to drink 16.9 ounces of.

Sampled in Russia. Tastes much better when compared to the other beers available in Russia. Did you know that the only American beers available in Russia are Miller Genuine Draft and Budweiser? This is definatly better than those two. Kind of like a malt liquor. Marginally acceptable. Try it.

Has a cheap beer aroma like a Pabst or Schlitz. While it has a relatively long lasting flavor, its not one that you want to stick around. Very pungent taste and is difficult to finish.

My first European strong lager. Tastes okay, but makes my tongue feel like cigarettes...

Bottle. Pale golden pour with a fluffy white head that lasts a while. Aroma is grainy and a bit skunky with a hint of grassy, citrusy hops. Flavour is about the same as the aroma but sweeter and with a metallic undertone that isnít very nice. This is one beer that needs to be drunk very cold as it gets worse the more it warms. Pretty bad.

Judging from the picture this beer is Baltika 9 Krelkoe, which is the one Iíve tried. Pale yellow. Fruity aroma. Alcohol is prominent, rather clean, but some vegeatble aroma. Sweet, low bitterness. Typical malt liquor.

Malt and corn nose. Morning urine color, soapy head. Sugary and corny with a sticky mouthfeel - it hides the alcohol behind sweetness - and now my drain is hiding the brew.

Bottle...although I donít think draught wouldíve helped matters much. Poured out a very pale yellow-gold...minimal head. Skunk-malts dominate the aroma....and they got skunkier as it warmed in the glass. The flavor was dominated by sweet malts, some bitterness, but I fear it was due to something other than hops. You can sense the alcohol...there was nothing else there to mask that. Yep...EuroColt45. Blah.

Mom said it best, "Itís sweet!" Too sweet for me. Well thatís where all the alcohol comes from. Yellow in color. Aroma of a barnyard, a clean one though. White fluffy head. Not much to it, just sweet. AND STRONG.

16.9 oz bottle - How does the same brewer that makes an excellent porter make this beer? This malt liquor pours pale yellow and fizzy with a one finger white head. It smells of grain and booze. It tastes of grain and booze. Thereís virtually no hops presence. Itís thin and has little to nothing in the way of redeeming qualities. The average rating here was higher than I expected. The high ABV isnít because itís good for the style or any other reason except to get you drunk faster. If thatís all you want, have a couple shots. Donít buy this beer.
