A strong lager beer with a taste close to classic lager varieties. The flavor is light and there is a suggestion of malt, together with sweetish notes and mild hops bitterness.
Ingredients: water, light barley malt, maltose syrup and hops.
Produced since 1998. 16.5°

500ml bottle. Light, grainy, sweet malty aroma, some faintly sour yeastiness and overreaching vegetable sweetness. Light golden yellow color with a very slight head. Lightly bitter and grainy up front, turning sweeter with a bit of a harsh and strange chemical finish. Dull, watery palate, medium-full bodied. This beer’s label is simply designated "pale beer", therefore I suppose I was hoping for more of a European Strong style and less of a Malt Liquor. So it goes.

Pours a pale golden color with a whipped egg white head that mostly dissipates, though it does leave a bit of lacing on the glass. Not much aroma, bit of sweet corn, I suppose. Flavor was way too corn syrupy for me. I think I would prefer to get hammered on Mickey’s than this.

High alcohol content (8%), which is good, because it deadens that taste buds that much more quickly. Not quickly enough, though, for a very metallic finish to come through. Came real close to pouring this one out, and I NEVER do that.

Expiration date 24 Apr 08. Poured yellow-gold with a creamy head. It looked like any of the U.S.A. macros. The stench of alcohol was all over it (8%). A lot of carbonation. I really didn’t care for the taste but I thought the label was kind of cool.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

bought at red apple in bremerton, washington. pours clear yellow with small white head. smell is acidic, grain, a touch of sweetness. taste is of alcohol, simple syrup, grain. this one rates all over the place, seems like you either like it or don’t, i guess I’m on the don’t side. to much alcohol taste and a strange lingering... try the ’6’ (porter) it is much better.

Big 51 oz brown plastic bottle to rein in the new year. Creamed corn, vegetal, with apple juice notes. Rough and husky. A beer that means business, knowing that business is dirty.

Light caramel color, moderate but fading head development. Lightly sweet, doughy aroma, also with quite a soy sauce note. Syrupy sweet flavor, light herbal-spicy hops, more soy sauce. Rather unpleasantly present ethanol. Slight edgy bitterness at the finish. Not majorly flawed, but not in any manner enjoyable.
