What is everyones problem with this beer? Yes it has an AC of 8%. So dont down it like you would an American light beer. I found that it had a very enjoyable taste as I swirled it around in my mouth before letting it slide down my throat. I slowly drank a bottle while watching the first period of a hockey game. When I was finished I could tell that it was stronger than most, but it is to be enjoyed, not swilled.

Tasted years ago as Baltika 9 Extra, bottle from a night shop. Medium, snow white head over a clear, pale golden blonde beer. Grainy and corny aroma, soapy, alcoholic; sweetish taste, adjuncts, grainy with a certain sourishness, metallic, bitterish finish more so because of alcohol than because of hops. Alcoholics fuel like most Eastern European pale strong lagers, but not even the worst in its style.

It has a very pale colour, barely yellow and white soft head. Although this is not an exceptional pilsner it is quite better than otther industrial beers.

At least this one has some flavour to give it some character, unlike the other two I had last night. Still an easy drinker which I guess is a plus at 8%

Light blond in color, heavy in alcohol. Nothing interesting, only one you need man is a cooler. I cannot imagine to drink this beer up to 5 degree Celsium. B@H

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with very faint notes of hops. Sweet flavour of malt and yeast, quickly offset by offensively bitter alcohol notes and some hoppy hints. A massive attack of cardboard tanks (T34?) closes the battle, leaving nothing to salvage. Not my favourite style and definitely not my favourite beer. Despite my Polish origin, I have never understood what it is that makes people east of Eden delight in superboozy concoctions of lager death.

50cl bottle. Clear yellow colour with a thin white head. Malty, caramel and grassy aroma. Soft to average carbonation and light to medium body. Taste is a bit sweet with some metallic notes. Overall, a boring beer but drinkable though.
