Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with skunky notes of malt and brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of brewing cereal.

Pilsner glass from bottle. A: yeasty, bready. App: light golden with a 3 finger, bright, white head. T: slight oakiness, bready, and sought toffee and carmel. Medium lingering aftertaste of pale malt P: medium bubbles, very smooth. Good beer for the price!

0,5l glass bottle. Hazy yellowish color. Little white head. Faint aroma of grains. Sour taste. Nothing special.

Brown half litre bottle obtained from a Russian shop in Antwerp (Belgium). Best before 15th Oct 2010, drank 26th July 2010. Poured (three times) into one of my small Veltins Pilsner glasses. The beer is a mid-range pilsner/helles/lager golden yellow, the regular pure white foaming head appeared on each pour. Bright, clear and what you’d expect from a Helles Bier. The aroma was fairly sweet, and floral (sweetpea?). The initial taste was also on the sweet side, however a tinny/metallic taste came along in the aftertaste. The beer was more enjoyable when I was hot and the beer cold, but as I cooled and the beer warmed, my mood changed and I had trouble with the final sips.

Жигулев& Helles Schankbier. Ingredients are Wasser, gerste, helles gerstenmalz, maltosesirup(gerste), hopfen. Not sure if should be created its own beer entry. Pours golden clear body with white rocky head. Aromas sweet malts, grains, citrus fruits. Palate is watery with smooth mouthtaste and with soft slick carbonation. Aftertaste is sweets malts, papery, citrus and some berries. Hoppiness is light. Basic lager with intrestering fruity citrus notes, litte heavy on sweetness. Mild in bitterness.

Bottle 500ml. @ Tasting by Benzai.

Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, sweet malt, corn, vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet cardboard, sweet malt, mash. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120304]

Bottlet: Small white head disappears quick on top of a very clear and bright yellow golden colored beer. Smell sweet malty, some barleys, corn. Taste wheat, malts, corn, paper/cardboard. It’s like a dull mix of a Pilsner and a Weizen. Aftertaste is low light wheaty herby and bitter. Low to medium carbo, watery creamy mouthfeel, low body and a watery texture. Very dull and a bit unbalanced.

50cl bottle @ home shared with Countbeer, Fonefan and Ove. Smell malts, sweets, cardboard. Taste malts, sweet, a bit dry. Low body, low carbo.

Somewhat corny, with a watery palate and not much hop character. Nothing actively unpleasant though and a reasonably hoppy aroma. Fair lager.
