Draught at brewpub, Zagreb. Cola brown with a thin tanned head. Light notes of roast caramel and chocolate milk. Flavour is heavily on the caramel side of things, with underlying chocolate and roast. Moderate bitterness, Sweet finish.

draft at the brewery. dark cola brown, pretty sure it’s filtered. loaded with diacetyl and smells like a skunked bottles - mettalic, plastic and glass all attached to the butter and olive oil coated toasted malt. almost comes across slightly sour. not that good.

draught at the pub. the best of the three offerings that day. dark brown, slight haze. bit overcaramel and under-roast, but still smooth and easy to drink. slight hoppy aftertaste, not overpowering
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 heavy (1490) - Split, CROATIA - OCT 29, 2007
26/10 0.5 l draught. Murky brown bodied with medium brownish head. Sourish unpasteurized nose very similar to Zlatno pivo, with some slight hops and maybe caramel malts. Flavor is quite light again, just a bit bitter and sourish a bit. With fuller body than their pilsener, this is still light for the style. Finish was quite dry to me, short. Doggythedog said I’m too drunk so I tried it tomorrow, still the same, well might have not been in perfect condition those days, but I still pretty much like it as it is definitely good home made beer.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2007
Dark mahogany, light 1cm beige head. Sugary, hesitant nose where the malts are in the showcase. Restricted roastiness is dominated by anise, red licorice and candied weird herbal flavours that could remind of a sugared up espresso. Quite sticky with the lack of any bitterness.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ogivlado (4444) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 5, 2006
Draught at the brewpub, -deep reddish brown coloured, little beige head, light roasted malt and slight coffee aroma but also quite watery
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Marko (3112) - Split, CROATIA - MAR 30, 2006
This poured a very dark red tinged colour, with a small light tan head that went at a medium pace. A very subdued aroma, maybe malty. Light, pleasant taste, raisins, caramel, coffe. Sweet. A weak bitter aftertaste. After trying Zlatno pivo, I’ve had high hopes for this. It didn’t reach them, but it’s a nice and pleasant beer.
