En fût. Verre de dégustation directement à la brasserie. Arôme: Odeur de fraises avec une pointe de jalapeno. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée rougâtre voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de fraises et de jalapeno. Longue durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence de jalapeno en arrière goût. (Rating #3100)

Tap @ Ithaca BrewFest. Bit of raspberry on the nose, but not much. Taste is fairly spicy with strong pepper taste, a bit too intense for my liking. An interesting concept but not executed very well.

On tap. Pours a nice reddish brown with a tannish head. Taste is immediately spicy, a very strong bite on the tongue. Fades nicely, and the spicy pepper flavor doesn’t last too long. Not a ton of fruitiness, but there is some in the finish. Intriguing beer.

Nice reddish brown color with a small head. Aroma initially has noticeable raspberry with a touch of jalapeno spice. Flavor is sweet and hot at the same time. Very well done. Nice jalapeno flavor and the right amount of fruity sweetness.

Dark Amber pour with a fluffy offwhite head. Aroma is sweet seedy raspberries, caramel malt, and a bit of pepper heat at the end. Mouthfeel is medium. Flavor is chocolate covered raspberries, caramel malt, a bit of pepper vegetable, definitely some heat on the finish, but not the tongue lashing I feared. Nicely done jalapeno beer with a bit of sweet fruit to balance out the heat.
