2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a hazy gold with a spotty white head. Aroma of pil malts, Nobel hops and some fruity esthers. Flavors is sweet pil malts, nobel hops, cereal and light fruits. A bit light bodied and the fruity esthers take too much control of this beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The pour: on tap, a straw in colour with a small fizzy head. The aroma: some nice pine notes come through followed by toast and sweet malts like cereal. The taste: an oily mouth feel with an even medium bodied bitterness throughout. The verdict: a bit too mellow for a Pilsner but well balanced overall

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sample at the brewery. Pale gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of full (not fat) pilsner malt and grassy hop. Flavours are of light pilsner malt and more grassy and slightly herbal hops. Light bodied, clean finishing and a fair amount of bitterness. Not overly complex, but nice and clean with a good amount of hop flavour and bitterness. Surprisingly good.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint on tap at the brewery poured a slightly hazy straw color with a small white head and some pretty nice lacing. Aroma was grainy with mild hops. Taste is light malty sweetness and a sharp bitterness in the finish. Light body and carbonation. A decent representation of this style.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at brewpub. Light gold colour with a fine white head. Grainy nose, suggestion of hops but not much. Nice malty flavour, grainy, nice noble hop character. Short hoppy leafy aftertaste. Light bodied and smooth mouthfeel. Reminds me of old school Canadian lagers.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma decent, touch of yeast and malt apparent. Not a lot of aftertaste but starts out with a decent amount of flavour for a Canadian pilsener

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I’m not generally a huge pilsner fan, but this was really impressive. The clean biscuit malt mixed with gentle but assertive grassy noble hops. A nice reminder that lagers can be interesting!
