kook (2035), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Nov 4, 2004 Biscuity vege nut aroma? Dark brown in colour. Sweet brown ale flavour, not very stout like in body. OK. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Oct 24, 2004 Cask@St Albans BF. Fairly nice. Some lightly roasted malt, with a slightly quenching acidity, quite pleasant. chris_o (4405), London, Greater London, England Oct 10, 2004 Due to problems with premises, Buntingford beers are currently brewed by the Buntingford brewer on the Belvoir plant. Rather confusingly, these beers have appeared under both the Buntingford and Banfield badges. This is a dark malty brew with some coffee, but also a touch of boiled veg and sulphur. Roasted malt flavour, although the body is a bit thin for a stout. But I’m not sure what else to call it. Not bad. Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans beer Festival 2004.
