Bangla Beer - its colour...the golden hue of the sun setting over the Bay of Bengal. Bangla Beer - its taste...a rich full flavour with an extraordinarily smooth taste. Chamotkar!"

Metallic malt scent with light grassy hops aroma. Slightly sour malt flavor with a grassy and dry bitterness. Thin and watery body. A very boring and tasteless beer, but not disgusting!

Pissy lager colour. Skunky nose. Slightly sweet malty, perfumy taste. Good for only one thing drinking with curry. You can’t taste the stuff then!

Hoppy nose, bronze hue, large 660 ml bottle, the hops are quite tasty here and this beer is pretty good - worth having with a curry

Bottle. Clear dark orange, with little head. Little aroma, but not pleasant. Light body with medium carbonation. Vegetably foretaste with little aftertaste. Not good, but drinkable with a curry.

Bottle in the Blue Mango, Rainhill, St Helens. Tastes very similar to Cobra and was served in a glass which closely resembled a Cobra glass, Didn’t pay too much attention to this beer, it was fairly average but complemented my curry fairly well

Clear golden, short lasting head, notes of cardboard, little malt, very sweet and short sweet finish.

Aroma of slightly sweet grain but not badly so. Fairly full in the mouth but rather bland, albeit not in such an unpleasant way. Mild malts and some sweetnes but again not overly so. Ends with some mild hoppiness. Had this, if I recall correctly, at the fabulous Shanti in Stockholm. The beer selection isn’t nearly as impressive as the Indian food so I switched to cheaper and not undrinkable Swedish lager after rating this one.

Pretty good. A strong and sweet amber lager. I understand that this beer is from Bangladesh. As a Muslim country, they are unable to consume this lager themselves, so I think it is quite kind of them to take time out from being hammered by monsoons to brew this up for us indulgent westerners. Thanks Banglas!!!

Appearance: golden color, transparent. Medium head, white and lasting. Aroma: malts and floral hops smells, lightly citric and sweet aroma from adjuncts. Flavor: sweet start from malts and other adjuncts grains (maybe corn). Some citric notes but ephemeral; light hoppy and lasting. Peel-orange’s reminiscences. Grain aftertaste. Palate: light body and medium carbonation. Mediocre but refreshing.

660ml bottle. ’stronger brewed for stronger food’ it says on the bottle. Pale gold with a fluffy white head. Spicy, honey aroma, and similar taste + fruit, weak body. bad, dry finish. chalky, soapy, slightly bitter aftertaste.
