1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
660 ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours clear golden with a big frothy off-white head. Aroma of sunstruck hops, boiled corn. Taste is sweet perfume, cloying honey, just bad all over. Very harsh and stale ending.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle at Mr Hangover’s 2014 Nieuwjaarsborrel, Den Haag and supplied by Beers of Europe. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast and stale malt. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a super watery light malt palate. They might love this in Bangladesh.... but

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I thought I'd bagged an elusive Bangladeshi beer until I came to post the rating to the site. Doh! Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by the beer, which is a reasonable, if unexciting golden lager. Minimal aroma, some soft hops on the palate and a soft, fresh finish. Just a hint of sweetness. It is far better than some of its rivals and has a bit more alcohol. For once, I wasn't drinking this with a curry, but I reckon this would go down just fine with Asian food. 330ml bottled (best before November 2003) from beersofeurope.co.uk

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Medium offwhite coarseish head doesn’t last. Light coppery body. Strawy sugary grainy aroma with perfumy solvent and toffee notes. Dry-sweetish alcoholic grainy taste with banana and earth notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Mid-to-full body. No aftertaste, just fades out very quickly. Undrinkable. (0.66l bottle, wine monopoly.)

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
660 ml bottle, as Bangla Premium Beer, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.2%. Very cool design of bottle and label. Brewed and bottled in the UK for LWC Ltd., Manchester, M11 2ER. Pale yellow colour, big white head. Fairly nice flowery aroma. The flavour is rather sweet with noticeable pilsener malts, bordering on "sugary", but not quite there. Some floral notes, hints of alcohol but not disturbingly so. Low bitterness. Not a great beer, but not awful either, should be acceptable to wash down a curry.
